Subject: Using ADC Inputs
Hi Tom,

Not being much of a programmer, I was hoping you could help me with some sample code.

I have a KFlop/Kanalog setup and want to use the input from the ADCs to monitor the current in some servo motors. The servo drives have an output for the current and I want to use that to monitor the loading.

I did search through the C programs in the KMotion directory, but couldn't find one that shows using the ADC input for logic purposes.

Thanks in advance,
David.

Hi David,

The first step would be to wire up the signals and see if the ADC values show up in the KMotion Analog Screen.

What logic do you want to perform?

TK

Hi Tom,

I have them wired in and the values are showing.

I want to use the current output from the servo drive as feedback for a probing operation... monitor the current during slow movement and stop when there is an increase above the normal value recorded during the slow movement.

Thanks,
David.
